I became interested in this effect after hearing a demo clip of the Pearl OC-07. After a bit more research, I realized that gaussmarkov had created a schematic for us. The only catch was: I didn’t want it in a 1590BB. I wanted to see if we could put it in a 1590B.
Well, it’s complicated, and it sure looks like perfboard, and it’s a tight fit, but it is possible to fit this in a 1590B.
Take your time. It’s not an easy build. It worked for me the first time, thankfully! However, it’s double-sided, and parts are “intermingled.”  So plan it out.

Super clean octave
Although it’s a pretty difficult build, the two I built fired right up first time through with no issues. The octave is super clean, with barely any tracking issues, which is normally common with analog octaves. Just the effect I was looking for!

I absolutely love this pedal. An octave pedal that works well in a compact size. It’s not glitchy like all the other compact octavers.

Definitely one of the harder PCBs to build but it’s exactly what I was looking for. Kinda like an OC2 and Green Ringer had a baby. Customer service is also an 11/10

I really enjoyed building this pedal. It is such a good octaver and in general I have more fun building something entitled ‘fiendish’ and put it inside a B-Case over building something else and putting it in a large case with so much additional air ^^

Now that’s a pretty crowded layout, but super-fun to make. Worked like a charm straightaway… just need to dial-in the trimmer to get the upper 8ve to speak it’s best. Inspiring to play!
